FAQ
How many boxes of flooring do I need?
Floor area × (1 + waste %) ÷ the square feet per box on the carton, rounded up to whole boxes.
What waste allowance should I use?
The calculator starts at 10% as an editable assumption. Diagonal layouts, patterns and many small rooms usually need more; follow the manufacturer's guidance.
Does it do baseboard?
Yes: perimeter minus doorway widths, plus waste, in linear feet or metres.
