Problem: Orange EV is recalling certain 2023-2024 e-TRIEVER, 2020-2023 T-Series Tandem Terminal Truck, and 2024-2026 HUSK-e Tandem Terminal vehicles. Improper welding may cause frame rails to crack, leading to rail separation.

Risk: A detached rail can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of injury.

Free fix: Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the frame rails as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 22, 2026. Owners may contact Orange EV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. Orange EV's number for this recall is 2026-SRC-02.

Latches/Locks/Linkages › Doors › Lock (26V102000, 2026-02-20)

Problem: Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2018-2023 T-Series Pure Electric and 2024-2026 e-TRIEVER terminal trucks. The driver's side door handles may be missing a lock. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 206, "Door Locks and Door Retention Components."

Risk: A door that cannot be locked may open unexpectedly during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Free fix: OEV field service will replace the door handles, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 13, 2026. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2026-SRC-01.

Exterior Lighting › Hazard Flashing Warning Lights (25V612000, 2025-09-12)

Problem: Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2017-2024 T-Series, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and HUSK-e terminal trucks. The hazard warning lights may turn off when the ignition is in the 'Off' position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Hazard lights that do not remain on cannot warn other drivers of a disabled vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Free fix: OEV field service will install a new hazard light wire harness and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by November 24, 2025. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2025-SRC-07.

Exterior Lighting › Back Up Lights (25V328000, 2025-05-20)

Problem: Orange EV is recalling certain 2024 HUSK-e, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and 2017-2024 T-Series trucks. The pintle hook partially blocks the center of the backup lights. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Obstructed backup lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to pedestrians or other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Free fix: Orange EV service will replace the rear passenger taillight, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2025. Owners may contact Orange EV customer service at 1-866-688-5223.

Problem: Orange EV is recalling certain 2023-2024 HUSK-e, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and 2017-2024 T-Series trucks. The front side marker lights may be missing, and the passenger front side reflectors may be in the incorrect location. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Missing or incorrectly positioned lights and reflectors can reduce the trailers visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Free fix: Owners are advised to limit on-road use while operating without a trailer until the remedy is available. Orange EV will install front side marker lights and relocate the front reflectors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2025. Owners may contact Orange EV customer service at 1-866-688-5223.

Exterior Lighting (24V964000, 2024-12-20)

Problem: Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2023-2024 HUSK-e, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVERs, and 2018-2023 T-Series trucks built with frame extenders. The frame extenders obstruct the rear turn signals, reverse, brake, and taillights. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Obstructed rear lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to pedestrians or other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Free fix: Owners are advised to limit on-road use while operating without a trailer until the remedy is completed. OEV will relocate the rear taillights and replace the original with combination lights, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed February 21, 2025. A second notice will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223.

Problem: Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2017-2024 T-Series and 2023-2024 e-TRIEVER terminal trucks. The Emergency Response Guide (ERG), operator, maintenance, and service manuals incorrectly state that the emergency stop button in the vehicle cab will shut off and lock out the high voltage system.

Risk: Incorrect lockout instructions can mislead the operator into thinking the high voltage system is shut down, increasing the risk of injury by electrical shock.

Free fix: OEV will provide corrected ERG, operator, and maintenance manuals and add additional warning labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 20, 2024. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2024-SRC-01.

Steering (22V592000, 2022-08-08)

Problem: Orange EV is recalling certain 2021-2022 T-Series Pure Electric Terminal Truck and e-Triever vehicles. The steering gears may have been incorrectly assembled, which can cause the gears to fracture.

Risk: A fractured steering gear can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Free fix: Orange EV will inspect and replace the steering gears, as necessary, free of charge. All affected vehicles were repaired by September 15, 2022. Owners may contact Orange's customer service at 1-785-214-1072. Orange's number for this recall is 22E047.

Problem: Orange EV (Orange) is recalling certain 2019-2021 EV-T Series Pure Electric Terminal trucks. The pitman arm bolt may have been incorrectly tightened, allowing the bolt to loosen.

Risk: A loose bolt may allow the pitman arm to detach from the steering box, causing a loss of steering and increasing the risk of a crash.

Free fix: OEV Service Technicians will tighten or replace the pitman arm bolt, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on November 18, 2021. Owners may contact Orange customer service at 1-866-688-5223.
