Problem: Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2012-2025 ACTT (Xspotter) vehicles. The tire inflation information label is incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Risk: Incorrect tire inflation information can result in under inflated tires, increasing the risk of a crash.

Service Brakes, Air › Supply › Reservoir/Tank (25V449000, 2025-07-03)
Problem: Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2015-2022 ACTT (Xspotter) and ACX (Xpeditor) vehicles. The air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
Risk: Insufficient air volume can reduce brake function, extending the distance required to stop and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free fix: Dealers will inspect and replace or add additional air tanks as necessary, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed August 29, 2025. Owners will receive a second notice once remedy parts become available, anticipated September 2026. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Electrical System › Alternator/Generator/Regulator (25V258000, 2025-04-17)
Problem: Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2023-2024 ACTT (Xspotter) vehicles. The alternator ground cable may be misrouted and contact the alternator positive stud, damaging the cable.
Risk: A damaged cable can short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.

Electrical System › Software (24V819000, 2024-12-09)
Problem: Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2023-2025 ACTT (Xspotter) vehicles. A software error may allow the vehicle to exceed the speed governor limit. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 136, "Electronic Stability Control Systems on Heavy Vehicles."
Risk: Driving at speeds greater than 33 mph can result in a loss of handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Steering (24V080000, 2024-04-05)
Problem: Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2023 ACX (Xpeditor) and ACTT (Xspotter) vehicles. The steering gear assemblies may have been assembled incorrectly with fewer recirculating balls than are required, which may result in a loss of steering control.
Risk: A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.

Fuel System, Diesel › Storage › Tank Assembly (23V442000, 2023-06-23)
Problem: Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2022-2023 ACTT Xspotter vehicles. The fuel tank mounting straps may not be properly secured.
Risk: An improperly secured fuel tank can separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Problem: Autocar, LLC. (Autocar) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Legend, Xpeditor, and Xspotter trucks equipped with Sheppard Steering Gears. The steering gears may have been assembled incorrectly,which can cause the gear to fracture.
Risk: A fractured steering gear can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
