Problem: Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Super Star motorhomes. The inner wheel tire valve extension may be damaged through contact with the outer wheels, causing the inner tire to lose air pressure and overload the outer tire.
Risk: Overloading may cause the rear tire to fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free fix: Dealers will remove the rear inner wheel tire valve extensions, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 16, 2024. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 613 RSB.
Seat Belts › Rear/Other › Anchorage (23V469000, 2023-07-07)
Problem: Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2019-2023 Bay Star, 2020-2023 Bay Star Sport, and 2022-2023 Super Star motorhomes. The seat belt brackets for the dinette seat belts were modified to avoid interference with the vehicle slide-out rollers in the floor. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 210, "Seat belt Assembly Anchorages" and 207, "Seating Systems."
Risk: Modified seat belt mounting brackets can fail to properly restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Free fix: Dealers will replace the seat belt mounting brackets, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 4, 2023. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 604RSB.

Problem: Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Super Star motorhomes. The Federal Certification label may indicate the incorrect tire size information for the rear tires. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, "Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars."
Risk: Incorrect tire size information could lead to an incorrect tire being installed, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free fix: Newmar will provide new labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on November 17, 2022. Owners may contact Newmar's customer service at 1-800-731-8300.
