Problem: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2002-2015 MB II, 2008-2026 G5, and 2015-2026 T-Series transit buses. An installation error may prevent the wheelchair tie-downs from locking, leaving the wheelchair improperly secured.

Risk: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit or a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Free fix: Dealers will inspect and secure the anchor screw cap as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 29, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 26-120-AUC.

Electrical System › Wiring (25V839000, 2025-12-05)

Problem: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2022-2023, 2025 T-Series and 2022-2026 G5 transit buses. The power cable providing electricity to the air conditioning control board may have a loose connection to the power stud on the board.

Risk: A loose power cable connection may cause the control board to overheat and melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

Free fix: Dealers will secure the power cable and power stud as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 30, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 25-118-SUC.

Problem: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2024-2026 G5 and 2025 T-Series transit buses equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Risk: An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Free fix: Dealers will inspect and repair the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 8, 2025. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 25-117-QUC.
