Problem: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2026 G5 and 2024 MB II school buses built on a GM chassis and equipped with a second air conditioning compressor kit. The drive belt pulley may contact and damage the the oil lines.

Risk: A damaged oil like may leak, increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.

Free fix: Dealers will secure the oil lines, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 29, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 26-121-OUS.

Equipment Adaptive/Mobility › Wheelchair Restraints/Securement › Latch/Anchor › (26V149000, 2026-03-13)

Problem: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2003-2026 MB II, 2006-2026 G5, and 2015-2026 T-Series school buses. An installation error may prevent the wheelchair tie-downs from locking, leaving the wheelchair improperly secured.

Risk: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit or a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Electrical System › Wiring (25V840000, 2025-12-05)

Problem: Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2022-2025 MB II, T-Series, and 2021-2026 G5 school buses. The power cable providing electricity to the air conditioning control board may have a loose connection to the power stud on the board.

Risk: A loose power cable connection may cause the control board to overheat and melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

Problem: Micro Bird USA, LLC (Micro Bird USA) is recalling certain 2026 G5 transit buses equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Risk: An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
