Seat Belts › Front › Anchorage (25V666000, 2025-10-06)

Problem: Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Mack MD, 2019-2025 Anthem, Granite, 2024 MD Electric, and 2025 Pinnacle trucks equipped with a passenger bench seat. The seat belt anchorage bracket may be improperly welded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Risk: An improperly welded seat belt anchorage bracket can detach during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Free fix: Dealers will install a reinforcement plate, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 21, 2026. Owners may contact Mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Service Brakes, Hydraulic › Antilock/Traction Control/Electronic Limited Slip › Control Unit/Module (24V792000, 2024-10-23)

Problem: Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Anthem, Granite, TerraPro and Pinnacle vehicles, equipped with Bendix EC80 Advanced Electronic Control Units (ECU). Electrical noise and low signal to the power line carrier may cause the ECU to incorrectly process commands or stop working.

Risk: Safety systems that depend on the ECU (Automatic Traction Control, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Active Cruise Control, and Collison Mitigation System) may have diminished or lost functionality, increasing the risk of a crash.

Free fix: Dealers will reprogram the ECU software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 9, 2024. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0472.

Electronic Stability Control (Esc) › Control Module › Software (21V233000, 2021-04-01)

Problem: Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Anthem (AN), Granite (GR/GU), and Pinnacle (CHU/CXU/PI) vehicles equipped with "camelback" rear suspension and electronic stability control. The vehicles may not stay in their lane at certain speeds. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 136, "Electronic Stability Control Systems on Heavy Vehicles."

Risk: A vehicle that drifts out of its lane increases the risk of a crash.

Free fix: Mack will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the vehicle control units, free of charge. The recall began on April 21, 2021. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0423.

Steering › Linkages › Drag › Link › Connection (19V896000, 2019-12-16)

Problem: Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2020 Anthem (AN), Granite (GR), and Pinnacle (PI) vehicles. The castle nuts and cotter pins used to connect the steering drag link to the pitman arm and steering arm may have not been correctly installed, potentially causing separation of the drag link.

Risk: If the drag link separates, loss of steering control my occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

Free fix: Mack will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the drag link attachment points, repairing them, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began January 14, 2020. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0420.

Exterior Lighting (19V209000, 2019-03-18)

Problem: Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2020 Anthem and Pinnacle trucks. The conspicuity reflectors at the back of the cab may be blocked by the exhaust system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Assoc. Equipment."

Risk: If the reflectors are blocked, the vehicle's visibility to other drivers may be reduced, increasing the risk of crash.

Free fix: Mack has notified owners, and dealers will install additional reflectors on the back of the cab, free of charge. The recall began April 10, 2019. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0418.

Visibility › Rearview Mirrors/Devices › Exterior (19V054000, 2019-01-24)

Problem: Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Mack Anthem, Granite, Pinnacle vehicles. The passenger side door down view mirror may detach from the door.

Risk: If the mirror detaches from the door, the mirror may strike another vehicle or pedestrian, increasing the risk of injury or crash.
