Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2021-2026 Altec Digger Derrick, and 2023-2025 Altec TA Series Aerial Device vehicles. Improper wiring may prevent the boom stow auto-neutral feature from engaging, which can allow the truck to be driven while the boom is still elevated.

Risk: When the vehicle is moved or driven with the boom out of stow, the vehicle could exceed the recorded travel height, increasing the risk of a crash.

Free fix: Altec will correct the wiring in the power distribution module to enable the boom stow auto-neutral functionality, free of charge. Forward Collision Avoidance › Automatic Emergency Braking (26V541000, 2026-08-21)

Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2019-2026 AN Series, 2023 AA Series, 2022-2026 Digger Derrick, and 2025 AM Series vehicles. The Bendix automatic braking system was not recalibrated after relocating the front radar box.

Risk: An improperly calibrated system may have a delayed braking response, increasing the risk of a crash.

Free fix: Altec will update the collision mitigation system with the revised the parameters, recalibrate, and test the system, free of charge. Risk: While using the pole rack at full capacity, an incorrect high vertical center of gravity during braking and cornering may lead to a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Digger Derrick and 2021-2025 AM Series Aerial Device vehicles. The chassis engine may start unintentionally due to a missing diode in the Altec power distribution module.

Risk: An engine that starts unexpectedly increases the risk of injury to anyone near the engine compartment during maintenance operations.

Problem: Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2011-2025 Aerial Device, Digger Derrick, and 2022-2025 Service Body vehicles. The cable step wire rope assembly may be improperly secured, which can allow the cable entry step to detach from the vehicle.

Risk: A cable step that fails during use increases the risk of injury.

Free fix: Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the cable crimps. If the cables are improperly crimped, Altec will provide instructions and a kit to replace the wire rope assemblies. Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Aerial Devices (AT, TA, L44, L45, LR8, AA, AM, AN) and D series Digger Derricks (DH, DL, DM, DT). The power inverter that converts electrical DC power to AC power may have been installed without a circuit breaker to protect the AC output circuit.

Risk: Without a circuit breaker, the AC circuit may overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.
