Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Pressure Digger, Spray Truck, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The low tire pressure rating printed on the final stage certification label is incorrect.

Risk: An incorrect pressure rating may lead to underinflated tires, increasing the risk of a tire blowout or a crash.

Free fix: Altec will inspect and replace the incorrect certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3294.

Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Aerial Device and Digger Derrick vehicles. The electronic taillight module harness may have inadequate circuit protection.

Risk: Wiring without adequate protection may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.

The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the vehicle certification label may be incorrect, leading to the vehicle being unintentionally overloaded.

Risk: An overloaded vehicle can increase the risk of a crash.

Problem: Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2011-2025 Aerial Device, Digger Derrick, and 2022-2025 Service Body vehicles. The cable step wire rope assembly may be improperly secured, which can allow the cable entry step to detach from the vehicle.

Risk: A cable step that fails during use increases the risk of injury.

Free fix: Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the cable crimps. If the cables are improperly crimped, Altec will provide instructions and a kit to replace the wire rope assemblies. Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Aerial Device, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The front winch bumper may be secured with incorrect bolts, which can cause the bumper to detach from the vehicle.

Risk: A front bumper that detaches can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. In addition, the bolts can fail suddenly during winch operation, increasing the risk of injury.

Fuel System, Diesel › Delivery › Hoses, Lines/Piping, And Fittings (25V288000, 2025-05-02)

Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2024 TA Series, AT Series, L Series, LR Series Aerial Devices, and AF Series Forestry bodies. The fuel lines may not be properly secured, which can cause the lines to chafe and result in a fuel leak.

Risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

Free fix: Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the fuel lines. If the lines are improperly secured, Altec will provide a kit to secure the lines. If the lines are damaged, the chassis manufacturer will repair the fuel lines. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 27, 2025. Exterior Lighting (24V439000, 2024-06-13)

Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2024 aerial devices, digger diggers, pressure diggers, service trucks, reel lifters, pressure washers, and articulating crane models built on a Freightliner M2 Plus chassis. Please refer to Altec's recall report for specific vehicle make and model details. The lighting wire harness may be overloaded, preventing the vehicle lighting from illuminating. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Lights that fail to illuminate can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Altec LR7 and LR8 aerial devices. The hydraulic cylinder feeder tube routed near the cylinder rest bracket may become damaged and leak oil, which can result in uncontrolled boom movement.

Risk: Uncontrolled movement of the boom can increase the risk of injury.
