Printable gift certificate template with serial numbers and a ledger
Type your business name, the amount or service, who it's for, an expiry date and a terms line, and Stampsprig lays out a finished gift certificate. Print 1, 2 or 3 per US Letter or A4 page with cut marks, or leave the name blank to print write-in certificates for the counter. With Pro, every certificate gets its own serial number and a QR code that holds it, and lands in a redemption ledger where you mark it redeemed, use part of the balance or void it. Everything runs in your browser.

Why teams pick Stampsprig
- The free plan already prints cut-ready certificates; no sign-up.
- Serial numbers are never reused, so a copied certificate shows up in the ledger.
- Partly used balances: a $75 certificate used for $40 keeps $35 open.
- $19 once, not a monthly app or a cut of every sale; nothing uploaded.
How it works
- Fill in the business, amount or service, recipient, expiry and terms.
- Pick a design and 1, 2 or 3 certificates per Letter or A4 page.
- Download the PDF or print; with Pro each one is numbered, gets a QR code and is logged.
FAQ
Is this gift certificate template free?
Yes: three designs, up to 10 certificates per print, PDF or print with cut marks. A small "Made with Stampsprig" line sits in the page margin, outside the cut marks.
How do serial numbers work?
With Pro, each printed certificate takes the next number from your own series (GC-0001, GC-0002 ...), never reused, with an optional QR code holding it. It is added to the ledger as issued.
Why not Loopy Loyalty or a Shopify gift card app?
They sell digital wallet cards or online gift cards, billed monthly or as a cut of sales. Stampsprig prints certificates you hand over the counter and tracks them, for $19 once.
Do gift certificates have to have an expiry date?
Rules on expiry and unused balances differ by state and country, so check local law. Stampsprig lets you print no expiry or any date. Not legal advice.
