Find company websites from a list of names, in bulk

For: Sales ops and RevOps cleaning lead lists, marketers enriching event or webinar sign-ups, researchers matching company names to websites, and AI agents that need a website from a name.

You have a spreadsheet of company names (a trade-show list, a CRM import, a list of vendors) and need the website for each. Namewhere looks each name up in Wikidata, checks likely domains in DNS and reads the homepage to confirm the brand, then returns the domain with a 0-1 confidence score. Look-alike domains that are parked, for sale or dead are rejected with the reason, so a wrong answer does not slip into your list.

Source: Namewhere API GET /api/domain on the free tier, 1 Oct 2026 12:15 UTC. Delta's 0.68 (medium) is lower because delta.com only partly matches the name and its homepage did not answer the check; the Wikidata entity confirms it.

Why teams pick Namewhere

Try it in one call

for c in 'Shopify' 'Delta Air Lines' 'Klarna'; do curl -s "https://namewhere.cybermax-tools.workers.dev/api/domain?company=$(printf %s "$c" | jq -sRr @uri)" | jq -r '.results[0] | [.input, .domain, .confidence] | @tsv'; done

How it works

  1. Try a few names in the box below (25 free a day).
  2. For a whole list, buy the $5 pack: 5,000 lookups, no expiry; the key appears right after checkout.
  3. Loop over your names with the key (one name per call), or paste the list into the Namewhere tool on Apify.
  4. Sort by confidence and check only the rows under 0.7 by hand.

FAQ

How do I find a company's website from its name in bulk?

Send each name to Namewhere (API, MCP or the Apify tool). It returns the official domain, a confidence from 0 to 1 and the evidence. 25 names a day are free; $5 covers 5,000.

How accurate is it?

On our live test of 8 well-known names (1 Oct 2026) all 8 were right, and on a harder 8-name benchmark on Apify (24 Sep 2026) it also got 8 of 8. Names that are generic or shared by several companies come back with a lower confidence; add a country code to pick the right one.

Can I upload a CSV?

Yes, through the Namewhere tool on Apify: paste or upload the list and download the results as CSV, Excel or JSON. With the API, loop over the names with your key.

What if a company has no website?

It comes back as not found or low-confidence instead of a guess, and look-alike domains are listed with why they were rejected.

Is there a free way?

Yes: 25 lookups a day with no key and no sign-up, in the box on this page or on the API page.
