A defect in the motor controller and inverter or the battery controller may cause the electric motor to shut down and cause a sudden loss of drive power. Fix: Electra will repurchase the affected vehicles. Owner notification letters were mailed April 14, 2023. Owners may contact Electra customer service at 1-888-457-SOLO (7656).",

In the event of a rear turn signal wire harness short-circuit, the flashing frequency of the unaffected turn signal lights would not change, failing to alert the driver that a turn signal has failed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number Fix: ElectraMeccanica will update the body control module software, free of charge.
