The dimmer circuit board overheats during use causing the circuit board and dimmer housing to melt and deform. As the dimmer switch fails, the lights may become inoperable or not work correctly and there may be a noticeable smoke or burning smell. Fix: Dealers will replace the dimmer switches free of charge.
