CyberMax Lens privacy policy
CyberMax Lens shows the technologies, public contact details and email-security settings of the website you are looking at. It is built to work without collecting anything about you.
What the extension reads
- Only the tab you are on, and only when you click the CyberMax Lens button (the browser's
activeTabpermission). It never runs in the background and cannot see other tabs or your browsing history. - From that page: its HTML source, links, visible text, structured data and cookie names (not values). These are analysed inside your browser to detect technologies and the contact details the website itself publishes.
What leaves your browser
- The website's domain name (for example
example.com) is sent to a public DNS-over-HTTPS resolver, Cloudflare (cloudflare-dns.com) or Google (dns.google) as a fallback, to read its public MX, SPF and DMARC records. Their own privacy policies apply to those lookups. - Nothing else. CyberMax runs no server for this extension and receives no data from it.
What we do not do
- No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, no cookies of our own.
- No storage: results disappear when you close the popup, unless you copy or save them yourself.
- We do not sell, transfer or share user data with anyone, and do not use it for creditworthiness, lending or any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
Your use of the results
The extension shows information that websites publish about themselves. If you contact a business using it, follow the anti-spam and privacy laws that apply to you (for example CAN-SPAM, GDPR and the ePrivacy rules).
